Electronic Systems and Services Unit


Unit Tasks:

  • Managing and operating the e-Register academic system and providing comprehensive and continuous support to colleges and users in all related matters.
  • Granting permissions on the academic system and monitoring their use.
  • Setting up classes on the system and monitoring the automated registration process for all university students.
  • Copying, posting, and processing class schedules on the electronic portal.
  • Performing group calculations of students' cumulative grade point averages (GPAs).
  • Operating and managing the electronic portal and providing various services through it to both students and faculty members.
  • Working to improve the interfaces and outputs of the academic system.
  • Reviewing new services offered on the academic system or the electronic portal and monitoring the quality of their delivery to ensure they fulfill their intended purpose.
  • Sending notifications to students and faculty members regarding dates, tasks, and announcements via the Deanship's application.
  • Managing the electronic archiving system, which is a system for storing historical data of academic records for current students.
