The Committee Introduction

The Communication and Media Committee works to promote the college’s activities through media channels, publish its news in various media outlets in coordination with the Institutional Communication and Media Administration at the University, organize receptions for delegations to the college, oversee the college’s website, and follow up on organizing meetings and conferences within the college.
Committee Objectives
1- Highlight the role of the college administration and its departments and committees from an informational perspective.
2- Document events and occasions at the college.

Committee Tasks
1- Cover the college’s events, activities, and programs through media and journalistic channels in various media and social media outlets.
2- Organize the college’s programs, such as conferences, seminars, and diverse scientific events.
3- Organize visits by delegations to the college.
4- Work on coordinating the college’s relations with the public within the University and outside it.
5- Prepare periodic media reports on the college's administration and departments.
6- Coordinate with the college’s administrations and academic departments regarding what needs to be published in media outlets before publishing it.
7- Issue informative brochures and leaflets about the college and its programs.
8- Monitor the designation of the college’s website and updating files.
9- Design comprehensive electronic reports on training programs and seminars held, featuring images and publishing them on the college's website.
10- Document and publish the achievements of academic departments and their members on the college’s website in coordination with the departments.
11- Follow up on publishing the college’s advertisements on the website and contacting various departments and units to arrange for its advertisements.
12- Prepare an annual report on the unit's work, achievements, and proposals leading to its development and improved performance.
13- Document the college’s occasions through word, sound, and image and archive them in organized records.
14- Oversee advertisements displayed on screens distributed throughout the college in coordination with various departments within the University regarding what is published through them.
15- Coordinate with the Institutional Communication Administration at the University.
16- Implement any other tasks assigned to the committee by the Dean of the College.
