Rectorship History
King Tanthu University established its Development and Quality Agency within the university based on a decision by the Higher Education Council dated 14/5/1430 AH, which was crowned with a decision by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God grant him eternal rest, dated 25/9/1430 AH. The Agency focused on establishing systems to confirm internal quality standards in the university’s colleges, ensuring a high level of quality to meet its first and second strategic plans and fulfill institutional and program accreditation requirements.
The College Development and Quality Agency began within the college through a team of specialists interested in quality in Jumada Al-Thani 1431 AH. Its most important achievements included preparing the first self-assessment, but it ceased to be an agency responsible for committees and tasks until Muharram 1432 AH, through the creation of an internal quality system consisting of a chairman and administrator, and an executive team comprising several committees that employed their work to meet the standards of the body.
