About Department
The Department of Systems was established in 1430H - 1431H, making it one of the earliest departments at the College after the Departments of Business Administration and Public Administration. The department offers a Bachelor’s program in Systems alongside a Professional Master’s Program in Systems.
The specialization in Systems is considered one of the most important specializations in Arab and global universities, often referred to as a top-tier specialization due to the importance of its outputs, which will be entrusted with work in key government institutions. It is known by other names in other universities such as (Sharia, Law or Jurisprudence), and has witnessed significant development in Saudi universities in recent years where governmental and private universities have expanded the establishment of Systems departments and programs, in order to keep pace with local and international changes and developments and meet the needs and future aspirations of society. The department seeks to achieve leadership and innovation in teaching Saudi systems and training on them compared to Islamic jurisprudence rulings, in order to contribute to preparing national systematic competencies that combine Sharia knowledge with systematic knowledge.
