The department was inaugurated with the male dorm in 1434-1435 AH and the female dorm in 1440-1441 AH, and it offers an integrated program in accounting for both male and female students. The department grants a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (4 years - 8 academic levels - the semester is 15 weeks), and also grants a professional Master’s degree in Accounting (2 years – 4 semesters – the semester is 15 weeks). The department updates and develops the curricula and programs for its (Bachelor’s and Master’s) programs in line with the quality standards and accreditation implemented at the university and throughout the Kingdom.
