University Founding
Royal directives were issued by His Royal Highness King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz – may Allah have mercy on him – to establish Najran University on 10/10/1427 AH, during its inauguration – may Allah have mercy on him – of the College Complex.
University Main Campus
The University is located on the eastern extension of the city of Najran over an area of (18) million square meters, making it one of the largest university cities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in terms of area. The University will include a student complex containing (14) colleges, and a female student complex containing (14) colleges, with a total capacity of (45) thousand students.
It also includes a building for the administration and supporting directorates, a university hospital, a medical city, research centers, a sports and recreational city, and housing for faculty, students, and female students. It also includes a future-oriented investment city to serve the university, containing hotels, commercial centers, and private schools, etc.
