Request for semester deferment
Postponement is a procedure that allows a student to temporarily suspend their studies for one or more semesters without being considered a failure. This is granted if the student provides a valid excuse approved by the Dean of the college or an authorized representative. The student must submit the postponement request before the start of the semester.
The semester postponed by the student will not be counted as the necessary period to complete the graduation requirements of the program.
No bonus for the semester that the student deferred will be counted within the eligible bonus period.
A student’s period of absence shall not exceed two consecutive academic semesters or three non-consecutive semesters throughout their studies at the university.
Yes, there are specific deadlines outlined in the academic calendar for submitting postponement requests.
