Word of Head Department
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
And peace and blessings of Allah be upon the noblest of creation, the leaders among believers, and His mercy to all mankind: our Lord, Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether. And after (this introductory phrase).
The Department of Anatomy is one of the most important departments within basic medical sciences at the College of Medicine and other health colleges (such as dental colleges, pharmacy, applied medical sciences, and nursing). Anatomy curricula are fundamental pillars upon which medical knowledge is built in various healthcare specialties.
Anatomy focuses on studying the different functions of human body organs in their normal state, the mechanisms regulating these functions and their integration and harmony together, as well as the biological processes that contribute to maintaining the functional balance of the body, positively impacting human health and safety.
Physiology is taught through theoretical and practical courses covering all relevant curricula at the College of Medicine and health colleges, equipping students with a strong knowledge base enabling them to understand medical and healthcare specialties and build their future medical careers with confidence and efficiency.
And we ask Allah, the Almighty and Eternal, to guide us in providing everything that benefits our students academically and professionally, and to be of assistance to them on their educational and professional journey.
