The Clinical Skills and Simulation Unit at the College of Medicine was reconstituted under Administrative Decision No. (11/46) dated 28/04/1446H and operates under the Department of Medical Education. The unit aims to develop a modern training environment based on advanced clinical simulation methods to support academic and research programs.

The unit is responsible for preparing comprehensive development plans, ensuring the implementation of safety and security standards, maintaining continuous availability of educational supplies, supervising equipment maintenance, organizing practical training and student schedules in coordination with academic departments, and conducting continuous evaluations of unit readiness. It also promotes the use of simulation in medical education, develops specialized training programs, and strengthens governance of the unit’s operations to enhance the quality of education and achieve outstanding learning outcomes.
