The Department of Medical Education is a new department established in 2020, previously it was a unit affiliated with the Dean of College of Medicine for Educational Affairs.

The aim of the Department of Medical Education is to implement the mission and goals of the College of Medicine and Najran University, and with the continuous changes and increasing developments over time in the field of medical education, there is an increasing need to keep pace with these changes and developments continuously and synchronously. This will ensure that the outputs are of high efficiency and at a level comparable to its counterparts locally, regionally, and internationally.

The Department of Medical Education comprises three main units including

  • e-Learning Unit
  • Medical Curriculum Unit
  • Assessment and Evaluation Unit
