We are pleased to welcome you to visit us here in the Surgery Department, which is one of the main departments of the College of Medicine, through which we offer a number of scientific courses for the pre-clinical years and clinical years through various specializations, and that include General Surgery, Otolaryngology (ENT), Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, as well as many other courses both inside and outside the college.

The Surgery Department works in conjunction with other departments within and outside the College of Medicine through a group of distinguished members who hold higher scientific degrees and distinct academic and clinical skills. The Surgery Department also participates in postgraduate studies through fellowship programs in the region, in addition to other community services.

In the Surgery Department, we strive to provide the highest academic and clinical standards by keeping pace with the latest developments in this field under the unlimited support of the College Deanate and the University Administration, which looks forward to a ambitious future for the college and the university in light of the wise leadership’s vision “Vision 2030”.
