In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Praise be to God and prayers and peace upon the noblest of prophets and messengers, our dear prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions. Now, it is likely that one of the most important specialties in the College of Medicine and one of its main pillars is the specialty of Pediatrics, particularly because the segment that this specialty deals with represents approximately 70% of Saudi society. As is well known, Pediatrics includes many branches like other medical specialities; among the most important are:

Neonatal Medicine

Intensive Care for Children

Immunology and Allergy – Children

Digestive System, Liver and Nutrition Diseases in Children

Respiratory System Diseases in Children

Cardiac Diseases in Children

Digestive System, Liver and Nutrition Diseases in Children

Pediatric Hematology and Pediatric Oncology

Genetic or Metabolic Diseases of Children

Endocrine and Diabetes Diseases

Kidney Diseases in Children

Neurological Disorders in Children

And we are in the Department of Pediatrics aiming primarily to educate and inform students on how to deal with children in this age group with compassion and love, not just that, but it is imperative to deal with the child’s parents with high professionalism. We ask God for our dear students success and blessings and that we succeed in their education benefiting them, and peace be upon our prophet Muhammad.
