Tasks
- Develop practical and scientific programs to enhance the relationship between the department and the local community and monitor their implementation.
- Establish distinguished relations with all institutions related to computer science and participate in their activities.
- Organize and encourage participation of department members in scientific activities outside the department.
- Organize and encourage participation of department members in social activities outside the college.
- Collect and tabulate projects implemented by the department and its members, as well as the outcomes of those projects to serve society and development plans, and create a database.
- Deepen communication between the department and the authorities responsible for development plans within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and study the mechanism for participation.
- Develop a policy and mechanism for expanding the scope of services provided by the department and college to the community in order to achieve the department's and college’s mission in this regard, and monitor implementation.
- Develop a mechanism for measuring the satisfaction of individuals within the community regarding the services provided to them by the department and college, and monitor implementation.
- Any urgent work pertaining to the unit.
