The Main Tasks of the Medical Maintenance Department:
- Following up on maintenance work for medical systems and equipment in hospitals and health facilities with the Ministry of Health.
- Following up on and reviewing the submission of invoices for medical maintenance contracts from a technical and financial standpoint before submitting them for approval.
- Following up on the implementation of work orders at sites and reviewing spare parts invoices.
- Field visits to ensure the operational quality of medical systems and equipment, and to evaluate contractor performance at sites in implementing contract terms and obligations.
- Emergency visits to sites based on operational needs.
- Participating in technical analysis committees for competitions issued by the Ministry for medical operation and maintenance works.
- Participating in acceptance and delivery committees for medical maintenance contracts according to what is submitted to the General Directorate of Maintenance.
- Evaluating the performance of subcontractors for medical equipment through securing spare parts and conducting scheduled visits according to the requirements of maintenance work for medical equipment.
- Activating preventive maintenance activities at sites and health facilities for medical maintenance works.
- Following up on the completion of observations and handover procedures for expired contracts.?
