About the Department
Human Resources Management is one of the vital departments in the University, due to its focus on monitoring and controlling academic and administrative affairs at the university level. Its beginnings were represented by the management of staff affairs, which was established simultaneously with the establishment of the University on 10/10/1427 AH. It became independent as a public administration under the name (General Administration for Faculty Members and Employees) from the Financial and Administrative Affairs Management starting at the beginning of 1430 AH, after the management of faculty members and employees was raised to a public administration.
Then it was later raised to become (Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees). According to the new structure, it was transformed into (General Administration for Human Resources). This administration is part of an integrated system that works with one team spirit to serve faculty members, employees, and the community. This development places personnel in the administration under doubled responsibilities towards serving the human resources of the University in all their functional categories, as well as contributing to enhancing the community role assigned to the Administration.
