It gives me the pleasure of my name and the names of its members, the Department of Family Economics at Najran University, to welcome you to the department’s page.The Department of Family Economics is one of the specializations that addresses issues related to domestic life, contributing to preparing individuals and providing developmental services to society through offering educational, training, and activities relevant to the various fields of the department such as housing, household management, food and nutrition, textiles and clothing, and family relations. Therefore, the content embodies establishing the Department of Family Economics within the Faculty of Education to prepare qualified teachers to teach Family Economics at public education stages and participate in community service and provide research opportunities in the department’s fields. The department aims to train students in this field on various matters including managing household affairs, managing financial and economic needs of the home, as well as general expenditure management.“The Department of Family Economics at the Faculty of Education seeks to achieve quality and excellence and attain a prominent and distinguished position on the map of higher education in its various fields: education – scientific research – community service, and working to graduate students capable of competing in the labor market by providing an excellent environment for learning, teaching, and scientific research.”Finally, we ask the Great God for help and success, and all wishes to the students of the department for success, and for the college leadership and excellence.
