Introduction about the Department:

The Systems and Technical Support Department is one of the departments affiliated with the e-Learning and Distance Education Administration, where this department manages, maintains, and updates the Learning Management System –Blackboard– continuously, as well as providing technical support to all faculty members and students in the University colleges.

Department’s Mission:

The management and continuous updating of e-Learning systems according to the latest technologies and providing technical support to beneficiaries according to best practices in line with the vision and mission of the Administration.

Department's Objectives:

The Systems and Technical Support Department aims to contribute to achieving the vision, mission, and objectives of the e-Learning and Distance Education Administration through the following objectives:

1. Management of e-Learning systems

2. Continuous updating of e-Learning systems

3. Providing technical support to beneficiaries through various channels

Department’s Tasks:

1. Managing and operating the Blackboard Learning Management System) ) and ensuring the effectiveness of the system continuously.
2. Periodic maintenance of the Blackboard Learning Management System))
3. Updating the Blackboard Learning System with periodic scheduling.
4. Receiving inquiries and responding to them through technical support channels.
5. Managing and developing the College website.
6. Posting College news and announcements on the website as soon as possible.
7. Participating in the development of systems and technical support by submitting new work mechanisms and proposals.

Department Policy:

The Systems and Technical Support Department seeks to adopt a policy based on best practices and standards in the field of system administration and technical support.
