Introduction to the Department:

"The Design department is one of the departments affiliated with the E-Learning and Distance Education Administration at Najran University. It was established with the aim of designing materials for the Deanship from media and educational materials, to be published for targeted groups both inside and outside the university."

Department Mission:

Utilizing visual and auditory communication using graphics and motion graphics that contribute to achieving the goals of the administration stemming from the University’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.

Department Objectives:

• Using visual and audio materials to facilitate the dissemination of information.

• Using visual and audio materials to facilitate the reading of information.

• Promoting e-learning culture through the design of educational materials.

• Participating in activating local and international events.

• Contributing to the development of skills in using the E-Learning Management System through educational materials.

Department Tasks:

      The Design Unit is assigned to implement all designs required by administrative units to perform their tasks, such as designs:

• Course Announcements.

• Semester Reports for the Administration.

• Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Statistics.

• Learning Materials (User Guides – Educational Lessons).

• Event Announcements, and Promoting E-Learning Culture.

• Motion Graphics Clips.

Unit Policy:

The Design Unit adopts the following policies:

1. All copyrights of media and educational materials belong to the e-Learning Administration.

2. Commitment to quality in the design and selection of educational content.

4. Disseminating designs across all administrative channels and its website.

5. Adherence to best design and editing standards.
