Development and Quality Unit

Introduction to the Unit:

This unit is concerned with planning and development work, promoting a culture of quality, and evaluating performance levels, as well as collecting continuous data and information on quality activities within the administration, monitoring implementation plans for departments and units within the administration, measuring the satisfaction of beneficiaries of various activities, and preparing annual reports through approved performance measurement indicators.

The Unit's Mission:

Continuous development of all work and personnel of the e-learning management to ensure achieving the vision and mission of the e-learning management and Najran University, and achieving its strategic goals.

Unit Objectives:

The Development and Quality unit aims to contribute to realizing the vision, mission, and objectives of the e-learning and distance education management, preparing strategic and operational and development plans for departments and units within the administration, preparing an annual report on what has been accomplished from the plans, monitoring their implementation according to performance measurement mechanisms and indicators that achieve the mission and goals of the administration stemming from the University’s vision and objectives.

Unit Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing the strategic plan for the administration in accordance with the University's strategic plan.

• Monitoring the implementation of development and improvement plans within the administration, and preparing necessary periodic reports for this.

• Preparing operational plans involving departments and units within the administration, and monitoring their implementation.

• Preparing an annual report on the efforts of the administration and its departments regarding the levels of plan implementation, and the difficulties faced during implementation.

Unit Policy:

Overseeing development and quality operations, achieving accreditation standards, and ensuring the quality of administrative work within the department, while working to develop and improve performance across all aspects and promoting its culture.
