Praise be to God, the Lord of the Universe, and prayers and peace upon Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions… And after [this preamble], I am pleased to welcome visitors to the Early Childhood Education Department within the Faculty of Education.

Building on the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 which has supported the development of early childhood care and education and emphasized that human capital development begins in early childhood due to the importance of a solid foundation at this stage in fostering skills and abilities throughout subsequent educational stages, the Early Childhood Education Department aspires to keep pace with this development through its vision, mission, and objectives, which encompass diverse aspects including preparing distinguished graduates, providing a supportive academic environment, and offering enhanced educational services to support graduate capabilities, developing the capabilities of academic and research faculty members, raising scientific productivity, and enhancing community service through programs targeting all segments of society. The Early Childhood Education Department comprises a select group of outstanding academic staff with high experience and efficiency who contribute effectively to realizing the department’s, faculty’s, and university’s visions toward leadership at the local and international levels.
