It is one of the service departments affiliated with the General Administration of Supporting Services and is considered the authority responsible for all transportation activities within the university. It undertakes significant and important efforts for all entities in the university, including oversight and follow-up on contracting companies transporting female students from outlying provinces to the main campus, as well as transferring students and graduates of residential halls to and from university facilities and colleges during activities and events both inside and outside the university, transferring health college trainees to hospitals and multi-specialty centers, receiving visitors and guests to the university, and transporting furniture, equipment, and supplies between university facilities. It also monitors transportation means, supervises their maintenance, and provides them with fuel according to specific regulations and schedules for each vehicle, as well as receiving and delivering vehicles in accordance with the organized rules and regulations governing this process.
