Strategic Plan
Strategic planning refers to how to reach future horizons through measured and organized steps and processes, starting from studying the reality of the institution (the college’s self-study), identifying strengths within the institution (key strengths), and pinpointing weaknesses (areas for improvement) as well as knowing external factors affecting the performance of the institution – opportunities and threats – before moving on to selecting a vision and mission, then defining the goals and objectives through which the institution's mission is achieved, and finally transitioning from the current situation to the desired state, taking into account available human and material capabilities, the realism of the steps, their methodology, and the procedures followed to achieve these goals.
And strategic planning in higher education has become essential and necessary, requiring its use so that the college can first: see its position and know its location on the map of higher education in the Kingdom compared to similar colleges, and second: anticipate future prospects. Furthermore, planning leads the college to identify its ability to compete in graduating outstanding students capable of entering the labor market efficiently and contributing to the advancement and progress of society.
And in line with the commitment of the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Jurisprudence to apply quality standards in the educational process, in accordance with the University’s policy aiming to raise the education system and keep pace with modern developments in higher education systems and strategies, the faculty prepared a strategic plan for five years ahead to be a beacon guiding the college in its processes of developing and improving the educational process, linking it to community service, and meeting the needs of the labor market.
The college aspires, through its commitment to implementing its strategic plan, for all academic and administrative departments within it to develop and for its academic programs to receive local accreditation from the National System for Qualification and Academic Accreditation of Saudi Arabia, which will increase the college’s value and reputation among the local and regional universities.
