Praise be to God, and prayers and peace upon the most noble of prophets and messengers, our Lord and our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and their companions, may blessings be showered upon him countless times. After this, in order to keep pace with the comprehensive development that is taking place in our blessed country, King Saud University has established the Scientific and Engineering Research Center, which has been linked to the University’s Agency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in order to support scientific and engineering research across all its specializations and fields. The University hopes, through establishing this center, that it will be a cornerstone in all proposals falling under its purview, studying the projects submitted by faculty members, and monitoring their implementation. Not only that, but the University is determined for the Center to be a fundamental pillar in its community partnerships aimed at raising local awareness of scientific issues and research projects within the Center’s areas of expertise. This is not limited to that, as the Center is working to shape and establish local and international partnerships with institutions of weight in scientific fields, maximizing the benefits of these partnerships, with the Center having an innovation incubator to develop innovative ideas, stimulate them, and prepare their owners to transform their innovations into marketable products in order to create a positive impact on society for sustainable development and better quality of life.
