Vice Dean for Female Students
The word of the Dean of Preparatory Year for female students
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe, and prayers and peace be upon Prophet Muhammad, may God have mercy on him
The university stage represents a turning point in students’ lives, as it is the stage where they choose their area of specialization for their professional future. The preparatory year represents a foundation and preparation phase for entering the specialized field, being a transitional period from general education to specialized education to create a profession’s future.
And the Dean of Preparatory Year is the first gateway for transferring to colleges that require general preparation for their specializations. Therefore, it undertakes the task of providing a stimulating and pioneering and excellent academic environment to develop students’ abilities and skills to integrate into university society, and places the basic preparation in the specializations that its three pathways qualify for, which are: the Health Pathway, the Engineering Pathway, and the Computer Pathway, which represent developmental pathways for the Deanate's plans over the past years.
These modern pathways are linked to specialized specializations that align with the development requirements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to Vision 2030. Therefore, the services provided by the Office are focused on raising students’ knowledge, skills, and linguistic level, and equipping them with the necessary values through advanced teaching methods that stimulate students’ growth and development without neglecting stimulating their creativity and innovation in order to push students to engage in these specializations which have a significant need in the present and future of the Saudi labor market; this makes the preparatory year a sharpening of ambitions and a high level of competition to obtain the opportunity to complete the study of the specialization in university colleges linked to its pathways.
