Head of the English Language Skills Department
I am pleased to welcome you to the English Language Skills Department of the Freshman College at Najran University. The department undertakes a fundamental mission to develop students' linguistic skills in areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, ensuring their academic preparation and enabling them to continue their university journey with confidence and efficiency.
The department offers (6) courses that the student studies according to his/her academic path (Health, Engineering, or Computer),. In the first level, instruction focuses on English for Academic Purposes (EAP), while the focus shifts in the second level to English for Specializations (ESP), meeting the needs of each path and enhancing students' abilities to adapt to the requirements of their future specializations
We strive in the department to apply modern educational strategies, provide an encouraging learning environment, and enhance partnership between faculty members and students, seeking to achieve the quality of outputs and realize the University's goals in academic excellence and serving society.
