The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Najran University was established in 1445 AH (2023 AD) based on the approval of the Council of Higher Universities, Resolution No. (2-16-45) dated 1445/2/14 AH, which included approving the merger of the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Deanship to become the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research is one of the supporting deanships at Najran University, structurally linked to the University’s Office of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and closely affiliated with the university's strategic objectives in serving society academically and research-wise.
The Deanship oversees the postgraduate studies and scientific research system at the university, contributing to the organization and development of policies and governance of procedures to achieve leadership, quality, and excellence in providing high-quality postgraduate programs, enhancing research productivity, and knowledge investment, thereby contributing to the development of the knowledge economy and sustainable development, and developing innovation and creativity skills in light of Vision 2030 of Saudi Arabia.
