Praise be to Allah and prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Companions. Following after:
Pursuant to Resolution No. (235) issued on August 20, 1425 AH – which states in its second paragraph the establishment of an Internal Review Unit in every governmental agency whose Head is the Responsible Authority for the concerned entity, and Resolution No. (129) issued on April 6, 1428 AH – which approves the Unified Regulation for Internal Review Units in Governmental Agencies, the Internal Review Unit at Najran University was established and activated practically on November 12, 1432 AH.

The Internal Review Unit is an autonomous unit with independent activity aimed at examining and evaluating internal control systems and conducting financial and operational reviews, performance evaluations, and ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources. It also aims to enable the University to achieve its mission and objectives through ensuring that goals are accomplished as planned.

Accordingly, it becomes evident of the positive role of Internal Audit in providing preventative protection for public funds, rationalizing their use, and contributing to raising performance efficiency in all university units.
