The administration undertakes internal audit activities by exercising the authorities granted to it in accordance with the Unified Regulations for Internal Audit Units, in order to achieve the following objectives:
  • Protect public funds and assets, prevent and detect fraud and errors as they occur.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data and accounting records.
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative and financial operations, which lead to optimal use of available resources.
  • Achieve compliance with systems, instructions, policies, and plans binding on the entity, to achieve its goals effectively and regularly.
  • Maintain the integrity of internal control systems and their effectiveness.
