The Research Chairs Management Office is the executive body responsible for research chair affairs at Najran University, and it is affiliated with the University’s Agency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The office receives requests to establish chairs, manages relationships with funders and supporters, monitors the performance of chairs and their outputs, and oversees the allocation of their resources.

1- Attracting external funding for scientific research and diversifying its sources, and building long-term partnerships with funders and supporters.

2- Directing research chairs towards national priorities, the university’s strategic objectives, and the needs of the Najran region.

3- Governance of the establishment, operation, and resource allocation of research chairs with transparency.

4- Monitoring the performance of research chairs using measurable indicators that include scientific production, innovation, social and economic impact.

5- Developing the research capabilities of faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students.

6- Protecting the rights and benefits of sponsors while preserving the university’s independence and scientific integrity.
