“Building on the message of Najran University to achieve institutional excellence and enhance academic and administrative performance efficiency, the Governance and Risk Management and Business Continuity Department plays a pivotal role in consolidating the principles of good governance, building an integrated risk management system, and ensuring business continuity under various circumstances. The department aims to support the achievement of the university’s strategic objectives through developing policies and regulatory frameworks, enhancing compliance and transparency levels, improving decision-making efficiency, in line with approved systems and regulations and best national and international practices. It also seeks to enhance the university’s readiness to confront potential risks and challenges, ensure continuity of vital operations, and minimize the impact of crises and emergencies on academic and administrative processes. The department believes in the importance of disseminating a culture of governance, risk management and business continuity among university employees, considering it a fundamental pillar for achieving institutional sustainability, fostering trust, and supporting the ongoing development and continuous improvement process.
