1. Overseeing the work of affiliated bodies with the Deanship of Development and Quality at the University.
2. Organizing the tasks of the units and departments affiliated with the Deanship and approving their action plans and developing them.
3. Approving the formation of committees related to the tasks of the affiliated bodies with the Deanship to serve its objectives.
4. Following up on meeting institutional and program academic accreditation standards in all academic and administrative units of the University and proposing necessary regulations, procedures, and mechanisms.
5. Providing support and advice to various academic and administrative units within the University to prepare for evaluation and academic accreditation plans, quality assurance, and supervision of improvement plans.
6. Working on establishing constructive scientific and professional relationships between the University and institutions interested in higher education quality and academic accreditation to exchange expertise in all areas of performance improvement.
7. Following up on the implementation of improvement proposals and recommendations sent to the academic and administrative units of the University.
8. Preparing studies and consultations to support strategic plans and development priorities for various academic and administrative units of the University.
9. Supervising the formulation and implementation of developmental plans based on the periodic self-evaluation of all academic and administrative units of the University in addition to evaluation studies used for periodic external reviews.
10. Reviewing and updating the strategic plans of the University’s units according to developments in higher education systems.
11. Suggesting the creation of units, centers, and departments to support quality and development requirements within the University.
