In line with the Ministry of Education’s initiative to transform community colleges throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into applied colleges, which will have a significant impact on key objectives of Vision 2030, an order was issued to transform Al Majmou’a Community College into an Applied College based on the decision of the Supreme Council for University Affairs No. (09-04-1442) dated 14-09-1442H.

The role of the Applied College lies in increasing its capacity after conversion to exceed 20% of secondary school graduates in 2025, through motivating students to enroll by providing them with financial incentives similar to those offered to university students and activating strategic partnerships with the private sector, while simultaneously establishing vocational units that contribute to preparing guides and plans to qualify the educational staff and link them with professional certifications, as well as providing the necessary career guidance for students interested in enrolling in the college.
