Praise be to God, the Lord of the Universe, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions, with the highest degree of submission. Then, after stating this, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you with the warmest welcome in the courtyard of the Applied College, welcoming you into the distinguished space of this website, and asking God Almighty to grant you satisfaction through its content, what pleases you and relieves your worries.
 
It is a matter of fact that the Applied College, being one of the colleges at Najran University and responsible for providing the desired educational programs, alongside bearing social responsibility, and in accordance with the ambitious orientations of Vision 2030 aiming to achieve the alignment between educational outputs and labor market needs, and affirming the university’s commitment to putting Saudi Vision targets into practical implementation in order to meet the requirements of quality outputs and keep pace with growing fields of life, the college has strived to include its strategic plan a unique educational and training performance system, directing its environmental elements towards working in two main directions: The first aims to prepare graduates who are qualified with distinctive qualitative knowledge and experience. The second directs towards developing community programs with an economic and professional developmental nature that achieves effectiveness in acquiring knowledge and skills and promoting noble social values equally.
 
In its forward march towards achieving the strategic plan, the Applied College has aimed at upgrading its academic study and teaching systems by adopting a system for professional certificates with its academic programs, alongside the development of application software packages, training workshops, and qualification programs with high classification and competitive dimensions. Moreover, in line with being the strategic partner of organizations and entities within the community, the Applied College has established a protocol for continuous cooperation and partnership with institutions from both the public and private sectors, reflecting a deep belief in its role towards fulfilling the needs of the labor market and driving production forward.
 
Finally, I turn to God Almighty with sincere gratitude and immense appreciation for the abundant blessings He bestowed upon me, and I ask Him, the Blessed One, to bless the educational and training journey of the Applied College. In this regard, it gives me pleasure to conclude my speech by extending my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Excellency, the President of Najran University, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Ibrahim Al-Khodairi, who has provided great support to the college. His Excellency has also diligently worked to qualify the students of the college according to the best educational outcomes that meet local and international standards. This befits the status of our beloved country and aligns with the orientations of our wise leadership. And Allah is my guide.
