Believing in the importance of academic counseling, which is considered one of the most important inputs to ensure the quality of education and learning, and which contributes, in turn, to obtaining the best educational outcomes, the University Administration, represented by the Agency for Educational Affairs, has given academic counseling care and attention through establishing and activating academic advising units in various colleges of the University since the launch of the educational process at the University, then followed by establishing the Central Unit for Academic Counseling to ensure the control of academic counseling practices according to the latest curricula and highest standards and working on their continuous development, and subsequently the Student Guidance and Direction Management: This Administration aims to: 1. Develop beneficiaries' skills that enhance Islamic values, establish national identity, preserve social and cultural achievements. 2. Develop beneficiaries by discovering themselves, developing their talents, and supporting their capabilities, which enables them to achieve excellence and leadership, allows them to participate effectively in their community and country. 3. Provide comprehensive care for beneficiaries' developmental, preventive, and therapeutic needs. 4. Provide a supportive university environment for education and learning for the beneficiary at all stages of his life. 5. Prepare beneficiaries to adapt to public life and the study and work environments. 6. Supervise counseling units in colleges and provide them with support and advice. 7. Activate research and community partnerships that contribute to providing distinguished counseling services.
