College Foundation
The Faculty of Science and Humanities for Girls in Burhah was established in 1423H under the name of the Faculty of Education, and it was previously affiliated with the College of Girls’ Directorate. It offered some specializations. With the launch and establishment of Najran University in 1427H, the Faculty of Education for Girls was restructured and joined Najran University in 1427/1428H, thereby becoming affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education. In 1430H, the name of the college changed to Burhah College of Science and Humanities, and new departments were added so that the college includes six departments: Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, English Language, and Computer Science.
At the beginning of the 1430/1431H academic year, studies began in the male department in the Computer Science and English Language departments, with approximately (120) students enrolled, 60 in each department. Also, a branch of Community Service and Continuing Education was inaugurated, which offers a diploma in Computer Science, with approximately (150) students enrolled.
