Vision and Mission and Objectives and Tasks
Vision:
To become a leading and innovative center in the field of nanotechnology for developing electronic devices and advanced technologies through conducting the latest research and scientific consultations.
Mission:
To facilitate and implement nano technology research in various fields of science, engineering and material technology to develop advanced products that benefit industry and society.
Objectives:
To become a leading and innovative center in the field of nanotechnology for developing electronic devices and advanced technologies through conducting the latest research and scientific consultations.
Mission:
To facilitate and implement nano technology research in various fields of science, engineering and material technology to develop advanced products that benefit industry and society.
Objectives:
5- Enhancing and strengthening cooperation with international universities and nanotechnology research centers to improve scientific knowledge and technology transfer.
8- Organize specialized seminars, workshops, conferences and guidance lectures to promote interdisciplinary research in the fields of science, mechanical engineering, nanotechnology and its applications.
Tasks:
The center's research tasks focus on manufacturing nanomaterials in various forms such as beams, tubes, thin films, and wires using modern preparation methods. Also, enhancing the physical and chemical properties through a variety of techniques and utilizing these nanomaterials to manufacture sensors (transducers) and various electronic devices in chemical, gas, electro-chemical, and optical sensor applications, as well as magnetic material-based transducers, electronic materials, transistors, and field emission devices. In addition to environmental applications and new and renewable energy applications. The tasks also include the effective utilization of scientific energies and technical equipment, directing them towards serving development issues, and strengthening the links between scientific research institutions and industrial and service agencies.
