Journals and scientific societies are among the most important tools in promoting scientific research and developing knowledge in various fields and contributing to accelerating the pace of scientific progress, and they enable researchers and academics to exchange ideas and research and enhance cooperation between them at the local and regional levels. In this regard, Najran University gives great importance to scientific research and its advancement through the establishment of the Journals and Scientific Societies Management Office to keep pace with the development in publishing scientific research and studies and documenting and distributing knowledge among academic and research communities. Journals and societies do not work independently but are closely linked; scientific societies are often the main supporters of specialized journals in their fields, overseeing the editing of journals, organizing conferences, and providing publication opportunities for all affiliated members. Moreover, scientific societies encourage the dissemination of research through the scientific journals affiliated with them, which contributes to enhancing the standing of these journals and increasing their impact on the academic community. Finally, the Journals and Scientific Societies Management Office is responsible for overseeing journals and societies and their administrations and founding committees, preparing an integrated guide for establishing journals and societies at the university, and providing administrative advice in various fields for journals and societies.
