About the Award

Najran University has established the Najran University Award for Excellence as one of the initiatives of the University’s Institutional Excellence Program. In alignment with the University’s vision, the award is held annually to promote excellence in the development of university work and operations, and to support the University’s transformation into a knowledge-based community. The award aims to encourage and honor distinguished individuals and entities in areas related to the University’s interests. It also seeks to foster creativity, innovation, and invention, and to motivate talent, capability, and excellence at all levels. The award is supervised and implemented by the Deanship of Development and Quality at the University.

Award Objectives

  1. Providing the appropriate environment for excellence and creativity in various fields among university staff at national and international levels.
  2. Building strategic partnerships with leading academic institutions and the private sector locally and internationally to enhance the scope and impact of the award.
  3. Representing the University in a distinguished manner at international scientific forums and councils through the distinguished participation of its staff.
  4. Achieving integration between the three levels of the award (internal - national - international) to ensure the continuity of excellence and its development.
  5. Localizing international standards of excellence and adapting them to serve the national and strategic objectives of the University.
  6. Enhancing the University's position as a reference for academic and professional excellence at the national and international levels.
  7. Encouraging university staff to compete at the national and international levels.
  8. Documenting and publishing best practices locally and globally to generalize the benefit and raise the institutional performance of the University.
