This section focuses on the teaching of curricula and courses in fixed and removable prosthetics for students of the Faculty of Dental Medicine at various educational stages (pre-clinical and clinical). The faculty members in the department supervise students during the pre-clinical stages in dental clinics within the college or in simulation laboratories, where students are trained on various treatments related to the field of fixed and removable prosthodontics using models that closely resemble what a student will encounter in clinical settings. In the dental clinics of the college, in the outpatient clinics of the college, and at the university hospital, the department provides therapeutic and advisory services to patients from society, including the fabrication of various types and designs of fixed prostheses, as well as the fabrication of tissue replacement prostheses for missing tissues in the face and jaws resulting from accidents or surgical procedures to remove facial and jaw tumors.
