About the Department
This section focuses on teaching curricula and courses in conservative dentistry, neuromuscular dentistry, and the properties of biomaterials used in tooth repair procedures. In addition to academic theoretical instruction, faculty members in the department supervise students during preclinical stages in the college’s simulation laboratories where students are trained on various treatments related to tooth repair using models that closely resemble those they will encounter in clinical stages. Clinics at the College of Dentistry, as well as outpatient clinics and the university hospital, provide the department with services and consultation to patients from members of society. The department also focuses on conducting scientific research, teaching students modern research methods, and participating in scientific conferences and academic meetings, presenting student research in various scientific cycles.
