These provisions apply to all users of the electronic services portal of Najran University and all affiliated subdomains.

Your personal data is collected at Najran University in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection System issued by Royal Decree (m/19) dated 1443/2/9 H and amended by Royal Decree (m/148) and date 1444/9/5H. Collecting and processing your personal data is essential to ensure the provision of services that serve the public interest, and this data is collected to achieve a number of purposes, most of which are:

- Handling Your Inquiries and Complaints: Your data is collected to provide the necessary support and interact with your inquiries from the University's services, as well as to address the complaints you submit in order to improve the level of service and meet your needs.
- Verifying Your Identity: Your personal data is collected to verify your identity when registering in various systems and services of the University.
- Achieving Security and Protection: Your personal data is collected for security purposes related to protecting the University's systems, such as tracking access to digital systems and ensuring electronic security, and combating illegal or fraudulent activities that may affect the University or its beneficiaries.
Your data is processed – directly or indirectly – according to the roles and responsibilities that achieve the specified purposes in this policy. Your personal data will be processed only by authorized persons according to their job functions, in line with the policies and procedures governing data processing and protection.
Najran University reserves the right to share your personal data with government or non-governmental entities for specific purposes based on legal foundations or justified operational needs aimed at achieving public interest, without compromising national interest or individual privacy.

The University is committed to applying best security practices and standards approved locally and internationally to ensure the protection of your personal data.
Your personal data will be retained for the period necessary to achieve legal and regulatory purposes, and to ensure compliance with related obligations. After the need for the data has ended or the purpose of processing it has been completed, it will be destroyed in a secure manner, ensuring that it cannot be accessed or restored, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection System.

- The right of access: which includes your right to access your personal data held by the University and to obtain a copy thereof in a clear format, without undue financial charge, in accordance with applicable regulations and systems.
- The right to request rectification: you have the right to request us to rectify your personal data or complete it or update it.
- The right to request erasure: you have the right to request us to erase your personal data when it is no longer needed, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection System.
Najran University reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time and considers it binding from the date of modification.
